The Rural Events Network is a project set up by The Vale of Glamorgan Council to establish a network which aims to bring together rural event organisers from the local area to share ideas, experiences and to take advantage of the use of free stock equipment.
Launched in spring 2009, the network currently has more than 30 members made up of local event organisers and groups covering a wide spectrum of events from food and music festivals to community fetes. So if you are interested in joining our network and becoming a member talk to us!
How to join?
New and existing event organisers based in the rural Vale of Glamorgan can join the Network for free and benefit from:
* The FREE use of a stock of event equipment for use in the Rural Vale.
* Free inclusion of your event in the Rural Event listing and website
* Networking opportunities with other member to share best practise and advice
* Up-to-date information and guidance for event planning
The network is administered by the Vale of Glamorgan Council and is open to anyone interested in the development and delivery of quality events in the rural Vale of Glamorgan.
